LUXOR,EGYPTE-13 FEVRIER: Decouverte d'un sarcophage  en bois de la 17e dynastie (1600 AD) a Louxor dans la partie orientale de la necropole thebaine. Le sarcophage a ete mis au jour  dans la cour  de la tombe de Djehouty (1482-1502 AD)  gardien des tresors de la reine Hatchepsout . Le sarcophage de 2m de long et de 50 cm de large contient une momie en tres bon etat .Le couvercle du sarcophage est orne de hieroglyphes indiquant le nom du propriétaire. Cette decouverte a ete realisee par la Mission espagnole dirigee par Jose Galan le 13 fevrier 2014,a Luxor,Egypte.<br />
LUXOR, EGYPT-February 13: Discovery of a wooden sarcophagus from the 17th Dynasty (1600 AD) Luxor in the eastern part of the Theban necropolis. The sarcophagus was unearthed in the courtyard of the tomb of Djehuty (1482-1502 AD) guardian of treasures of Queen Hatshepsut. The sarcophagus 2m long and 50 cm wide contains a mummy in very good condition. Lid of the sarcophagus is decorated with hieroglyphs indicating the name of the owner. This discovery was made by the Spanish Mission headed by Jose Galan February 13, 2014, in Luxor, Egypt.
